“To give real service you must add something which cannot be bought or measured with money, and that is sincerity and integrity”. -Douglas Adams
Before we get to the appointment by Judge Brian Gary of my first attorney ad litem for parent in case #FA-17-1605 there are several contradictions regarding the facts pertaining to Beverly Ling Rogers below that should require an explanation. Primarily why she is not on the Grayson County approved ad litem list, but a civil case search of her BAR number on Grayson County website shows many cases (but not our case) where she in fact does represent parents as an attorney ad litem.
Also very misleading the above states primary practice location McKinney, TX, below shows mailing address in Plano, TX, and physical address is even different showing Sherman, TX.
How does her website advertise these services if she is not certified to do as such?
Beverly Rogers also never informed me of an office of hers in Sherman one block from the Justice Center, she in fact she stated to me her office was in Plano, and in addition to her statement her vouchers indicate she drives over 70 miles round trip to attend our hearings. The payment vouchers that show this can be found at this link:
Beverly Rogers was appointed as Corey Lee Sargent’s 1st Attorney ad litem for Parent on October 18th, 2017 by Judge Brian Gary after the 397th Judicial District Court of Grayson County, Texas accepted the affidavit of indigency Corey filed with the court a few days earlier.
Here is the Notice of Appointment for Beverly Rogers.
Below is a link to the list of certified ad litem attorneys for these cases from the Texas BAR website:
